Hello All, I have two Lenovo s205 laptops both running Windows 7 Home Premium x64 and I have a Samsung DVD writer se-s084d (firmware is TS02). In one of the laptops the blank DVD+R disks are not recognised (from Sony and Verbatim) but it does recognise CDs and can play DVDs too. Toshiba Samsung Storage Technology Corporation (TSST)an international joint venture company of Toshiba Corporation (Japan) and Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.(Korea), was established for Optical Disc Drive (ODD) business.
